Easy



A full strike on the Metro, in protest at pay cuts, has caused chaos in Madrid this week.  I've survived the 45 minute daily walk thanks largely to the excellent album by Phosphorescent.



It's called Here's to Taking it Easy for chrissakes - what more excuse do you need to give it a listen?

Walkmen news



Greetings everyone,



Our next record, Lisbon, will be released on September 14 on Fat Possum records. We recorded the first half in New York with Chris Zane, and the second half in Dallas with John Congleton. We recorded 29 songs, but whittled it down to 11. It runs for 44 minutes. The writing took 2 years and the recording took just under one. We'll have a lot more stuff about it here in the next couple of days.
