Heat
Good to see one of our neighbours, Javier Bardem, partying hard after his well-deserved oscar win. A couple of weeks ago, a sweaty Bardem was spotted by Bea in our local gym and the restaurant he owns near us, serves incredible meatballs. I was gutted I missed the gym sighting as I had watched
No Country for Old Men the previous evening and was blown away.
Still, a couple of years back - on a birthday mission to Dublin, we did spot another Coen Brother favourite, a funny looking Steve Buscemi, passing his hand luggage through the XRay just ahead of us. Which remains, I think, my favourite celebrity spot -just edging out a 1994 sighting of Dave Grohl in a New York Art Gallery and the time myself and Neil, (in a VW Polo), tried to race Aston Villa Manager Martin O'Neil (in a Mercedes) down the M1. He won.

Sport & Leisure please Jim.
It's been a dazzling sporting week for the Sound Theory staff (me). Last weekend, the Boy
Muxloe decided to leave behind the grey skies and rains of South London, for a half term break in the (unfortunately) grey skies and rains of Madrid. Weather which literally dampened our enjoyment of
Atletico Madrid vs Athletico Bilbao at the uncovered Vincente Calderon stadium (a good game nethertheless with the home side losing 2-1).
Then all sorts of Bowling records where shattered at the famous Charmartin Arena, as I rolled down a personal best 172. Word has got back to me that Muxloe already has his eyes on the rematch and is
busy ironing out the kinks in his action.
Finally, after thirteen attempts, my Saturday footy team recorded our first victory yesterday. A 3-1 win, made all the more sweeter by the fact that the opponents all wore Arsenal shirts. Just two points behind second from bottom and 5 games left in the season -we're going all out for a record finish.
And with that dizzying amount of physical exertion we're off to chill out today in a place called
Escorial.....laters muchachos.

They say he's real Police.
I know i'm a bit behind the times with this one, but am loving The Wire. 6 episodes last weekend finished off season one and am now waiting for amazon to get their arses in gear and deliver Season 2 (although my confidence in the Spain-England mail route has been dented by the arrival yesterday of a Christmas card from my parents).
Top 5 Characters from Season 1:
1. Bunk
2. Mcnulty
3. Omar
4. Daniels
5. Wallace.
